Research Confirms Financial Benefits of Zero Carbon Housing

The CRC for Low carbon Living Research has revealed that creating a national carbon housing standard could add billions to the economy while also improving the home occupant’s health and comfort. Their research has confirmed that zero housing is both achievable and financially rewarding for both the householder and the wider community and government.

The Cooperative Research Centre for Low Carbon Living Research is a national research and innovation hub that leverages world class expertise from five universities and CSIRO as well as the wealth of knowledge provided by all its participants. The research builds on multidisciplinary expertise, existing technology development, social research and national benchmark software tools.
